Welcome — I’m Angela, the photographer behind Life Lab Photography.

I create beautifully styled newborn photography with rich textures, thoughtful styling, beautiful light and plenty of attention to detail. My goal is to create images that capture more than what your baby looked like — I want you to remember how this little chapter felt.

Based in Te Awamutu, I specialise in newborn, maternity and family photography, with sessions in my purpose-built studio and on location throughout the Waikato.

With years of experience behind the camera, I’m proud to have recently achieved my Master of Photography with Distinction, alongside being named a finalist for NZIPP Family Photographer of the Year in 2025.

Photography has always been about more than taking a picture for me. It’s about creating something you’ll look back on and still love years from now.
