Inspired by these cherished memories, I now have the privilege of capturing those fleeting, magical moments for other families. Over the past five years, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the art of posed and styled newborn and maternity photography. My images are crafted to reflect the richness and depth of those first few days of life. Like a landscape with its shadows, textures, and layers, my photography creates a sense of mood and timelessness, allowing each image to tell a story—a moment frozen in time to be cherished forever.

As a mother to four adult children and a nana to three grandchildren, nothing compares to the profound moment of holding each of my newborns for the first time. The overwhelming sense of wonder and miracle in those moments still stirs deep emotions whenever I reflect on them or look at my own photographs.

I photograph families from my purpose-built home studio on our Pirongia Road property in Te Awamutu, a calm, welcoming space designed especially for newborns and young families. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of seeing many of my clients return with each new baby, allowing me to capture their growing stories as they unfold. I also hold a current newborn safety handling certificate, so you can feel confident your baby is always cared for gently and safely during your session.
I’m an accredited New Zealand photographer, honoured at the Newborn Photography Print Awards and named a NZIPP Family Photographer of the Year finalist. I also travelled to Italy to study fine art portraiture, an experience that continues to shape the soft, timeless style you see in my work.
Newborns hold a very special place in my heart. Photographing those first days is a true privilege, and my hope is that when your child looks back at these images one day, they’ll see just how deeply they were loved from the very beginning.
