Growing up, my dad was a wedding and family photographer and always printing his work. Much of my natural flow derives from his lifestyle influence. I carry that into the posed and styled newborn images with the use of textures and atmosphere; like a stunning landscape image with its shadows, creases and layers. I bring a sense of mood and richness into my images. I also have worked hard at mastering my camera and surrounds and proudly call myself one of New Zealand's professional accredited photographers.

"How had I just created this beautiful baby?" I was struck immediately with awe. I’m so glad you’re here and that you get to experience the wonder of becoming a Mumma yourself! I am a mum to 4 adult children and there has been nothing in my life that can compare to when my husband and I had each of our babies. I was overwhelmed by the beauty I held in my arms every single time. It still utterly fascinates me today.

I was struck with awe

I was born and raised in the countryside near Taupo and am deeply inspired by nature and its raw beauty and this has greatly influenced my innate style . Growing up, very much a 'tomboy' with my 3 brothers we made our own adventures and spent a lot of time outdoors, that is where my love of nature has derived from. I am a creative soul, learning to sew and knit from an early age with my mum. This love of textiles and textures has allowed me to stock a beautiful range of unique, organic and natural knits for my sessions. I like to bring a sense of mood and richness to my images. I gravitate toward the natural colours seen in my surrounds and work them into creating a unique atmosphere for your newborn.
